Immaculate gardens create a peaceful retreat.
The hotel was overall disappointing. The bed in Room 28 was painfully uncomfortable, ruining my first night and day. After requesting a change, I was moved to Room 26, where I faced a cramped shower room with a tiny sink, adding to my frustration. the lack of staff presence made it difficult to get assistance when needed.

Charming stay with delightful breakfasts
Woke up every morning to a delectable full English breakfast that exceeded expectations. The gardens were immaculate, creating a peaceful retreat, while the owner’s personal touch made us feel truly welcomed.
Though the location was serene, we found ourselves quite far from the vibrant heart of Torquay, making it a trek to enjoy local dining and entertainment.

Had an absolute blast at Elmington House! The breakfast was spot-on, especially the scrumptious scrambled eggs! Plus, the gardens are a real gem, all lit up at night, creating a fab backdrop. Strolling around is a treat, and don't miss out on nearby Chelston Manor for a cheeky pint!
The swimming pool was off-limits due to the weather. Heartbroken, as I wanted to do a touch of skinny-dipping for my early morning routine, but everything still sparkled despite that!

The Elmington House offers a lovely stay with its charming decor and exceptionally clean rooms. I enjoyed a twin room that had a great shower and cozy vibe. Liza, the owner, made me feel at home, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was a standout. freshly cooked and generous portions made mornings delightful. The hotel's location is convenient, a brief walk to the beach and train station, perfect for day trips. The gardens are well-kept, adding a peaceful element to the surroundings. the Wi-Fi was a bit weak at times, which was slightly frustrating when trying to stay connected. there were minor maintenance issues, like a broken window in my room that couldn’t be fully closed, although it didn’t significantly impact my stay.
